Wagon Masters: Mike & Cathie Tassinari
This Jamboree is more of a gathering and we will be walking the grounds of the show and enjoying all the Pioneer Steam & Gas Engine Society has to offer. I will be bringing the North-East Truck Jamboree “Chuck Wagon” and we will attempt to do a Saturday Night buffet weather permitting. If you have any tables or EZ-UPS please bring them with you. There will be no seminars/raffles or registration.
Please do not call the Fair to make a reservation, as Camping is on a first come first serve basis. Also you should know that this is a “Dry Camping Event” and there are no dumping or water facilities.
If you decide you are coming to this gathering, would you kindly notify Mikeee, so I can have some type of count of who is coming.
Fairground Camping Fees:
- $35.00 for the entire weekend and is broken down as follows,
- $20.00 is for the Camping portion of your stay.
- $15.00 is to purchase a family membership so you can enter the Fairgrounds.
I have been told that even though we are dry camping – there are showers available although I do not know the amount of showers there are.
Early arrival at the Fairgrounds:
RVs can arrive as early as Wednesday July 18, 2018 after 9:00am at no extra charge.
Generator Hours: 8:00am to 10:00pm.
Pets: Are allowed as long as they are on a 6ft leash
Water Availability and the possibility of Sewer Dumping:
Lois & Dan Zell a N.E.T.C.J. member lives in Cochranton PA. That is about 17 miles from the Fairgrounds. They have offered the use of their farm to top off your fresh water tank and dump your grey tank.
Lois & Dan have also offered to host a pre or post gathering at their farm for those of us who want to arrive earlier than when the Fairgrounds open. Please contact Mikeee is you wish to join me at the Zell’s farm prior to the Fairground opening and I will send you’re their address.
Dan informs me that he has entered the tractor show for many years now, so I can now inform Dan that he is going to have one heck of a home crowd to cheer him on.
