August 23 Thru 27, 2017
The “official” Jamboree begins on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, but the campground will extend the discount so that anyone who wants to arrive as early as Sunday, August 20th may do so. Your Wagon Masters (and many others) intend to arrive on the 20th; we hope to have the “party tent” erected by the evening of the 20th.
Discount/Accommodations/Reservations: We have negotiated a daily group rate of $46.00 per night. This gets you (if you reserve early enough to snag one of the reserved sites) a 30 amp water/sewer/cable pull-through site. But don’t worry if these sites are already taken by the time you reserve. The campground has ample capacity, you just may not get a pull-through site, and it may be a little further away from the group. To get this discount you must say you are with the North-East Truck Camping Jamboree. This discount will be available up to the end of business day August 1, 2017. After August 1, 2017 it will be solely up to the Campground on whether to offer you the negotiated discount.
Campground Sites: Scroll down the the bottom of the campground map and look toward the lower right. The campground has blocked off sites in that navy blue area, but some sites are not available as they have been given to seasonal RVs. But in general the campground is holding the sites along Spruce Street, Balsam Boulevard and Laurel Lane for us. The two “party tents” will be on site 18. We will need many volunteers to erect these two tents. Together the tents measure 20 ft wide by 60 ft long.
Payment/Campground Cancellation Policy:
- The campground requires payment in full by August 1st. A campground representative will contact you on or about that date if you are not yet paid up.
- If you cancel your reservation 14 or more days prior to arrival, you will get a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
- If you cancel your reservation within 14 days of arrival, you will forfeit your deposit; up to a maximum of $250. However, If a cancellation does occur inside the 14 day window period, it may be limited to a $25.00 administration fee IF (and we do mean if) a tangible emergency occurs. The campground will be the sole decision maker as to whether your “emergency” qualifies.
Pets: Pets are welcome but must have Rabies certificate.
