Hello everyone and hope all of You have had a wonderful a holiday---where ever You may be.
Let me start by saying the North-East Truck Camping Jamboree group
starts off the 2010 camping season by supporting another Rally down in
Sanford VA. It is held at the
Tall Pines Harbor Campground
and is run by my good friends Ron & Michelle Humphress. This is a
once a year Jamboree and is known as the "Mid- Atlantic Truck Camper
Rally”. This is the granddaddy of Jamborees east of the Mississippi
River. There were in excess of 125 Campers in 2009. Last year 22 T/Cs
from our group went down there to support Ron & Michelle. This will
be their 4th year and it is always held on the 3rd weekend in April, a
Thursday to Sunday event. (see dates below). Ron & Michelle proudly
like to point out that any profits from this rally are given to local
Charities.
Most of you know the North-East Truck Camping
Jamboree has sponsored three events per year and is proud to announce
we are adding a fourth. This 4th Jamboree will be challenging because
it will be without the usual water & electric and support
facilities you would normally get at a campground. You will be "Dry
Camping" for this Jamboree.
Spring Jamboree is always held the weekend BEFORE Memorial Day.
Early Fall Jamboree is always held on the 3rd weekend of September.
Late Fall Jamboree is always held on the 3rd weekend of October.
November Jamboree will be held on the 2nd weekend on November.
